Kenya’s leading digital job-matching platform and career services company, BrighterMonday Kenya, has designed a youth skilling and employment impact project to improve employability of Kenyan youth and transition them into dignified employment. To support this goal, The Workforce Development Associate is responsible for identifying, establishing, and managing partnerships across various sectors, including white-collar industries, as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government entities. This role focuses on adapting and implementing employability training programs, providing career counseling through alumni engagement, and collaborating with job centers nationwide to monitor placements and enhance engagement strategies.

Brief Job Summary:
Your mission as the Employer Success Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to employers, guiding them through the platform, and ensuring they achieve their hiring goals.
Key Duties & Job Responsibilities
Partnership Development:
Identify and secure partnerships with employers in white-collar industries, as well as NGOs willing to hire in bulk and invest in staff training programs.
Build and manage collaborative partnerships with government entities and other relevant stakeholders.
Establish partnerships that will lead to adaptations of our employability trainings (soft skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship skills, etc.) with a focus on 70% women, 10% Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and 10% Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
Design initiatives that encourage organizations to collaborate with job centers for hiring needs. Explore pathways to expand job center activities and increase employer participation.
Program Implementation and Support:
Collaborate with training providers to enhance program offerings.
Work closely with job centers across the nation to monitor placements and improve engagement strategies with various organizations.
Develop initiatives to attract organizations in these sectors to collaborate with our job centers to meet their hiring needs.
Identify and propose pathways and opportunities to build and expand the job centers' activities.
Administrative and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of employer interactions, partnership agreements, and other collaborations.
Provide regular reports to the Senior Consultant - Workforce Development on partnership statuses, placement outcomes, and program developments.

Placement Tracking & Data Management:
Oversee placement tracking activities to ensure accurate monitoring of job placements.
Supervise the operations of call centers, ensuring strict adherence to call scripts and protocols.
Track and manage placement data, ensuring integrity and accuracy for reporting purposes.
Analyze placement trends and generate insights to improve employer engagement strategies.
Provide daily and periodic reports on placement outcomes, employer engagement, and program impact.
KPI’s to measure success
Number of new partnerships established with employers, NGOs, government entities, and financial institutions per quarter.
Percentage of employability training programs adapted and implemented with the specified focus demographics.
Number of job listings secured through collaboration with job center agents.
Number of placement recorded on a monthly basis
Retention rate of established partnerships over a specified period.

Person Specifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
Years of Experience:
2-3 years of cognate experience

Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong skills in securing employer buy-in for staff training and bulk hiring.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging industry stakeholders.

Project Management: Experience in planning, executing, and tracking employer engagement initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to track and report placement outcomes using CRM and tracking systems.
