Wordpress Web Designer

Job Description:

We're looking for a skilled WordPress Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing websites using the WordPress platform. Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript is a major plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new features and functionality on WordPress sites.

• Create and customize themes and plugins according to client requirements.

• Ensure responsive design across a multitude of platforms and devices.

• Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.

• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.

• Ensure all created WordPress websites are up-to-date and secure.

• Troubleshoot and resolve website problems in a timely manner.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a WordPress Designer.

• Demonstrable experience with WordPress and knowledge of its quirks and workarounds.

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

• Proficiency in PHP is a plus.

• Experience with visual design and wireframing tools.

• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.

• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.

• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.

• Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
