Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Mombasa for a Revenue and Tax Collection for Local Governments Facilitator. The facilitator will deliver training programs on revenue and tax collection tailored specifically for local government officials and organizations. Key responsibilities include developing course materials, conducting in-person workshops, facilitating group discussions, providing actionable insights on tax laws and fiscal policies, and offering guidance on aligning local practices with compliance and performance goals. The role also involves continuous improvement of training content to ensure alignment with the latest industry standards and government policies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Revenue Management, Tax Collection, and Local Government Operations
- Experience in Budget Planning, Financial Oversight, and Fiscal Compliance
- Strong Presentation, Communication, and Group Facilitation skills
- Proven ability to design and deliver training materials tailored to diverse audiences
- Up-to-date understanding of tax laws, compliance regulations, and local legal frameworks
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving in public sector revenue management
- Relevant professional experience in government finance or tax administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
