Columbus Café is known establishment offering exemplary service in hospitality industry. we are looking forward to open our second branch in Eldoret CBD hence looking for qualified professionals to join our team. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced wait staff to join our team and contribute to our continued success. As a wait staff, you will be responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operation and ensure our guest gets quality and standard food and outstanding service

Job Description/Requirements
- Provide the perfect service experience for restaurant patrons
- Ensure the guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
- Adhere to timing standards for products and services
- Look for ways to consolidate service and increase table turns
- Present menu, answer questions, and make menu recommendations
- Serve customers in an accommodating manner
- Apply positive suggestive sales approach to guide guests
- Pre-bus tables and maintain table cleanliness
- Provide responsible service of hot and cold beverages
- Deliver food and beverages to any table as needed
- Must follow all cash handling policies and procedures
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to deliver accurate food orders
REQUIREMENT
- A certificate in food and beverage service and sales
- At least 1 year experience working in food industry as a waiter/waitress
- Good Upselling techniques
- Knowledge on Point-of-sale Systems
- Food and Beverage Knowledge
- Good Communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service
- Good in Conflict Resolution skills
- Good Interpersonal Relationships
