DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Distribution
  • Sell and deliver FMCG products to retail outlets and customers along assigned routes. 
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. 
  • Identify new customers and expand the client base within the assigned area. 

Route & Territory Management
  • Plan and follow efficient sales routes to maximize coverage and sales. 
  • Maintain proper route schedules and ensure timely deliveries. 
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the territory. 

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and retailers. 
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business. 

Stock & Inventory Handling
  • Manage van stock effectively, ensuring accurate loading and offloading of goods. 
  • Keep proper records of stock movement, sales, and returns. 
  • Report any stock discrepancies or damages promptly. 

Cash Handling & Reporting
  • Collect payments and ensure proper accountability of cash and receipts. 
  • Maintain accurate sales records and submit daily reports. 
  • Reconcile sales and cash at the end of each day. 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Minimum KCSE certificate. 
  • At least 1 year of experience as a sales representative in FMCG products. 
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and persuasion skills. 
  • Good communication and customer service abilities. 
  • Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets. 
  • Familiarity with Dandora and surrounding areas is an added advantage.
