We are looking for a UI/UX Designer for TrueSight to join our team on a contract for service basis. This role will work closely with our Data Analysts during the requirements gathering process to ensure user needs and workflows are at the heart of our design approach. Our UI/UX Designer will prioritize the optimization of function placement and workflow efficiency while focusing on designing the look, feel, and usability of our site.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with Data Analysts to gather and understand requirements before user stories/bugs/features are added to the backlog.
- Uncover customer and business needs to develop and deliver user-centric design solutions that focus on enhancing functionality and optimizing workflow.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Collaborate with the Development team to ensure design goals are technically feasible.
- Create user experiences through wireframing, prototyping, and iteration of designs.
- Keep up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Education and Experience
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.
- Solid understanding of user-centric principles, usability, and accessibility standards
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing

Salary: Starting at KSH 70,000 – 150,000/monthly (Monthly Rates Based on Experience)
