Transport Manager

A leading driving school and technical college in Kenya is inviting applications for the following positions

Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma Holder

Certification in fleet Management

At least 2 years’ experience in a busy transport environment

Key responsibilities;

a)   Curb fuel misuse amongst instructors

b) Ensure all vehicle are parked at the designated parking lots

c) Spearhead localized marketing in conjunction with support staff in order to improve sales of respective branches.

d) Drafting a business-oriented instructors’ allocation timetable on a weekly basis

e) Ensure cleanliness of the parking yards

f) Curb incidences and accidents amongst company’s instructional vehicle

g) Ensure that there is punctuality

h) Ensure all instructors attend duly convened meetings

i) Maintain vehicle records (inspection reports, insurance and speed governors)

j) Identify and prepare maintenance/service budget.

k) Allocation of vehicles to qualified instructors whom will also be assigned to respective   branches.

l) Make monthly, weekly and daily reports of vehicles maintenance and service.

m) Oversee/control fueling of vehicles and maintaining and submitting weekly report to the administrator
