Transport Administration Manager

The Job

• Administration of spares acquisition and dispatch to all company locations in and outside the country.
• Analysis of the transport cost/expenses and reporting report on all variances for remedial work.
• Ensure the security of motor vehicle/ motor cycles in all company operations.
• Leading, coaching and motivating a team of high caliber personnel.
• Ensure all motor vehicles and motor cycles comply with statutory requirements.
• Scheduling of vehicles and assigning duties to drivers and driver assistants.
• Keep management informed on status of all company motor vehicles/ motor cycles.

Requirements

• Must have a Degree in business related studies from a recognized university.
• Post graduate Diploma in Fleet management will be an added advantage.
• Must have at least five years’ experience in transport administration in a busy organization.
• Must be ready to travel within and outside the country.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Must be a person of high integrity and willing to work long hours with minimal supervision.
• Must be knowledgeable of transport legislations and insurance matters.
• Must be aged 35-45 years.
• Must be computer literate.
