Responsibilities
Is in charge of guards' recruitment and training.
Identify training and development needs through job assessment, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with heads of departments.
Conduct weekly recruitment exercises to beef up the number of guards in line with the company and customer requirements.
Ensure that all recruits have all the required mandatory documents before deployment.
Ensure that candidates recruited undergo basic guard training before deployment.
Give written examination/aptitude tests to recruits to test their reading and writing skills.
Compile a training report on all recruits before a pass-out.
Conducted refresher courses for guards, supervisors, and those in charge to ensure that they maintained peak performance levels.
Conduct a pass-out parade for the trained guards.
Ensure high standards of discipline among guards and recruits.
Designing and expanding training and development programs based on both the company's and individual training needs.
Working in a team to produce competent, relevant, and professional employees.
Developing effective induction programs, refreshers, and on-the-job training.
Devising individual learning plans.
Liaising with other training instructors to ensure all training is done in line with the company's recruitment and training policy.
Managing the delivery of training and development programs and devising a training strategy for the organization.
Monitoring and reviewing trainees' progress through questionnaires and discussions with relevant departmental heads.
Evaluating training and development programs.
Keeping up-to-date with developing and emerging trends in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings, and attending relevant seminars.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years' continuous relevant experience in private security.
Diploma or degree in Security Studies or a related field.
Possession of an NYS or discharge certificate from forces will be an added advantage.
Possession of a valid riding /Driving license.
