The Job: Traffic Associate
Reporting to Shujaaz Inc Head of Brand & Media, the Traffic Associate will be responsible for managing the workflow and progress of multiple media assignments by overseeing schedules, preparing priority lists and ensuring the timely day to day delivery of all media outputs, acting as the central point of contact and quality control process owner to keep projects moving smoothly through various stages of production.
Your Role in the Spotlight
- Project scheduling: Assist in the creation of multiple project plans and schedules including task assignments and detailed project timelines for each of phase of work.
- Workflow management: Monitor and coordinate the progress of projects, identifying potential bottlenecks, and ensuring projects are approved and released on time.
- Communication and negotiation: Act as a liaison between different departments and creative teams to communicate project updates, deadlines, concerns and any necessary changes.
- Reporting and analysis: Generate reports on project status, and performance metrics e.g. hours and costs, and identify areas for process improvements.
- Relationship Management: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers/vendors to ensure deadlines are met and all issues are effectively resolved.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and ensure the accessibility of all important project documents, tools, templates and databases e.g. pitch decks, freelancer contact lists etc.
Who You Are: Skills and Superpowers
- Exceptional time management and organization, able to multitask, prioritize and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Proven experience in traffic/production management and solid understanding of creative development processes.
- Sound knowledge of project management software and collaboration tools, with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Swanglish.
- Good research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from diverse sources to fill gaps in knowledge.
- Innovative and passionate about storytelling and making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Requirements That Shine Bright
- Diploma in relevant field.
- At least 2 years experience in an administration role within a creative organization.
- Proactive problem solver, adept at quickly identifying and resolving workflow delays and determining effective long-term solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to drive timely results in diverse teams and resolve conflicts along the way.
- Self-motivated, organized and meticulous about their work with a reliable work ethic and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment while remaining detail-oriented.
- Empathetic and invested in gaining a deep knowledge of team needs with a mindset for learning and the desire to digest and develop new skills quickly.
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision, pivoting quickly between different projects while owning and managing them to completion.
- Integrity, accountability and a high level of professionalism in the assigned role.
- Self-starter, reliable, and passionate about your work; committed to your creative discipline and its challenges.
