TIMBER STRUCTURE ENGINEER / EXPERT

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and innovative timber structure Engineer / Expert for a unique sustainable development project in Nairobi.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Review current timber structure drawings and make recommendations to improve structural design

• Ensure design meets Engineering code and standard

• Help identify quantities for BQ

• Manage and supervise all on site construction

• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with drawings and codes

• Collect required data and information as directed by the Project Manager

• Prepare required reports as directed by the Project Manager

We would like to hear from you about this unique opportunity if you are qualified/registered structural Engineer and:

• Have at least three years timber engineering and construction experience 

• Passionate about sustainability and keen interest in sustainable engineering and architecture design

• Have hands on practical timber construction experience

• Have on-site construction project management experience

• Have exceptional communication skills, are a critical thinker, highly organised, meticulous, detail oriented and take pride in your work
