We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Timber Construction Foreman for an all-timber sustainable project requiring precise geometry, disciplined installation, robust waterproofing, and a high standard of finish, with structured construction records for certification.


Scope

• Timber structural frame is installed by a specialist subcontractor

• Exterior cladding, timber waterproofing, termite protection, and all exterior and interior finishing works are carried out by the in-house team


Role

• Work from architectural and structural drawings

• Check subcontracted timber structure installation against geometry, dimensions, and connection details in accordance with drawings

• Correct deviations before work proceeds

• Lead and supervise in-house cladding, waterproofing, and finishing works

• Maintain high standards for fixings, timber protection, installation, and finishing quality

• Complete daily construction records and logs


Requirements

• Experience delivering timber structures and high-quality finishes on site

• Experience must include timber structures (e.g. timber framing, timber roof structures, timber decking or similar); furniture/joinery-only experience is not suitable

• Ability to read and apply architectural and structural drawings for complex geometry

• Experience supervising contractors and managing site teams

• Strong understanding of timber fixings, connections, and waterproofing details

• Attention to accuracy, detailing, and final finish
