Role Purpose:
To implement and drive the sales strategy and action plans for the sales and distribution of Telkom product and services to resellers, distributors, agents & merchants within the assigned sales region. The role is expected to deliver sales targets and revenue margins across the customer network within the assigned region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. To achieve the Sales (Revenue) targets of the region – both Mobile & MFS
2. To achieve Customer Base targets via acquisition drives & supporting HQ-led Trade Marketing & Brand Activities.
3. To drive Channel Specific Agenda in line with Company targets – ASOs, SSOs, T-kash Agents
4. To achieve Site Profitability targets within the region via Site-based activities & programs.
5. To prepare & implement the Infrastructure blue print for the region to ensure full market coverage.
6. To undertake Channel Partner Relationship management to ensure sustainable business practices and profitability (ROI).
7. To oversee & drive the people capability agenda across all levels – TKL staff, 3P Staff and Partner Staff.
8. To ensure customer expectations regarding standard of services & product knowledge are met, both in TKL Stores & in Partners stores
9. To monitor the activities of competition and to prepare counter action plans.
10. To build interfaces & relations with other departments to driver overall Telkom agenda in the region: Finance, Logistics, Marketing
Academic background & Professional Knowledge:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• Relevant professional Sales Management certification
• 2-3 years’ experience in Regional Senior Management role sales and distribution
