The organization addresses a critical global emergency: over 950 million people world-wide need glasses but cannot afford them or lack access to basic eye care. As a result, children are unable to learn properly, and adults cannot work efficiently or sustainably care for their families, leading to an income loss of 269 billion US dollars annually.
JOB SUMMARY
The Tele- Sales Assistant will be responsible for reaching out to potential and existing patients through phone calls to schedule appointments, follow up on inquiries, and educate patients about our eye care services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:1. Follow-upsMaking follow-up calls and contacting patients through other media to purchase eye-glasses.Contact referred patients to track progress on medication and referral services.Follow up with patients to ensure they are satisfied with our eyeglasses and other services.2. GuidanceGuiding patients to choosing the proper frames and lenses in addition to other associated products3. ProductCorrect interpretation of prescriptions provided by our Optometrist for the purpose of ensuring the patient chooses the right product and knows how to use them.4. CashieringAccepting payments in various payment methods, receipting and accounting for the same.5. Fitting & Delivery of EyeglassesDelivery and custom adjustments of frames to fit on the patient 6. Stock ControlKeep track of stock and inform the keeper of additional stock or materials required for delivery activities7. Records Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and transactions.8. Customer ServiceProvide excellent customer service to patients.9. In-Person Visits Ride a motorcycle to visit patients at their homes or designated locations, ensuring timely and professional interaction.Provide patients with relevant information about services, assist with scheduling, and offer additional support as needed.Collect any required documents, forms, or payments, ensuring the process is seam-less for the patient.QualificationsDiploma preferably in Business or related studies1+ years of experience in a sales role (Preferably Tele-Sales)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant softwareNB: Interviews are on a rolling basis.
