Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with a passion for sales and will be responsible for driving the growth of our document security solutions, self-service kiosks, visitor management systems, digital identity solutions and parking management solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of our products, the ability to explain complex technical concepts to potential clients, and the skill to close sales deals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals in targeted markets, focusing on document security, self-service kiosks, and digital identity solutions.
- Client Engagement: Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and pain points and provide tailored solutions that align with our product offerings.
- Technical Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the technical capabilities and benefits of our solutions, both remotely and on-site.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all agreements meet both client and company requirements.
- Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our offerings and sales approach.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to ensure that client feedback is incorporated into future product iterations.
- Post-Sales Support: Provide post-sales technical support to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the IT, security, or automation industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of document security, biometric systems, self-service kiosks, and related technologies.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve technical problems creatively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM software for tracking sales processes.
- Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and enterprise document management systems.
- Understanding of digital identity management and blockchain technology.
