Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients, generating leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  2. Conduct thorough needs analysis and assessments to understand customer requirements, and provide technical expertise and guidance on our products and services to address their specific needs.
  3. Present and demonstrate our technical products and services to clients, highlighting key features and benefits, and articulating how they can address customer challenges and improve their business operations.
  4. Collaborate with the sales team, product managers, and technical experts to develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations that align with customer needs and requirements.
  5. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and secure new business opportunities, while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting assistance, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  7. Stay current with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to anticipate customer needs and proactively identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.
  8. Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics through effective pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and regular reporting on sales activities, opportunities, and results.


Required Skills

  1. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the products and services being sold, along with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  2. Excellent problem-solving skills
  3. Excellent sales, solutions presentation, and negotiation skills.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop long-lasting relationships with clients.
  5. Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities, able to understand customer needs, identify solutions, and recommend appropriate products or services.
  6. Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  8. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in engineering, science, or education. Strong technical aptitude is essential for candidates without an engineering background.
  • Proven experience in sales, and offering training preferably within a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and communicating technical product and service information.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen, including consultative and solution-based selling approaches.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
