Location: Nairobi/Mombasa/Nakuru


Minimum Qualification:

·       Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Business, Marketing, food processing, Industrial chemistry or a related field. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the Detergents/food industry.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.

·       Ability to understand technical specifications and convey them to non-technical stakeholders.

·       Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

·       Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

·       Willingness to travel as needed.

·       Possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities and Duties

Business Development:

·       Actively prospect and generate leads to expand the customer base.

·       Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

·       Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Client Relationship Management:

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

·       Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for client inquiries.

·       Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions to address specific cleaning challenges.

Technical Expertise:

·       Develop a deep understanding of our detergent products and cleaning equipment.

·       Provide technical advice and product demonstrations to potential clients.

·       Collaborate with the technical team to stay informed about product updates and improvements.

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

·       Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to showcase the benefits of our products.

·       Conduct product demonstrations at client locations to highlight the effectiveness and efficiency of our cleaning solutions.

Sales Targets:

·       Set and achieve sales targets in alignment with company goals.

·       Track and report sales metrics, providing regular updates to the MD.

Networking:

·       Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build a strong professional network.

·       Actively engage with potential clients and industry professionals to promote our products and services.

Driving and Travel:

·       Possess a valid driver's license.

·       Travel within the assigned territory to meet clients, attend meetings, and explore new business opportunities.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Sales Targets:

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.


Pipeline Development:

Maintain a healthy and growing sales pipeline.


Conversion Rates:

Demonstrate a high conversion rate from leads to closed deals.


Customer Satisfaction:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.


Market Penetration:

Expand the company's market share by acquiring new clients and increasing sales within existing accounts.


Reporting Accuracy:

Submit accurate and timely sales reports, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
