Job Summary
We are thrilled to offer an impactful opportunity to join our expanding team in Nairobi as Technical Projects Officer. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of technical projects for Münzer Kenya across. You will oversee local project planning in technical matters and ensure the timely achievement of scheduled project milestones, working under the guidance of the Service Team.

Responsibilities
• Technical oversight
o Troubleshoot local technical issues and implement effective solutions.
o Allocate resources, equipment, and personnel effectively to meet project goals
o Supervise grease trap inspection and servicing processes
o Collecting detailed information of equipment and procuring needed equipment
o Development and improving local technical solution in the storage with the expertise from Austria
o Developing and assisting in the collection process
o Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental and safety regulations
• Team leadership
o Training and supervising collection and storage team for grease trap collection
o Monitor collection and storage team performance and ensure quality of service
• Continuous Improvement
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
o Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Quality control
o Monitoring the quality of the collected material and treatment process
• Communication
o Communicating issues with the local sales team and Austrian team
o Helping in CRM with technical questions
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Water treatment, Process Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering or project management, preferably in wastewater management, or related industries
• Experience in handling liquid waste is a bonus
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and safety standards
• Profound knowledge in treatment and handling of liquids (Pump technologies, pipe installation, transportation of liquids, etc.)
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong English skills
