Job Summary

We are a leading Fleet Management and Vehicle Tracking service provider based in Tanzania. We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Team Leader to head our sales team in the Telematics Industry.

  • Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description/Requirements

The ideal candidate will drive sales efforts for our cutting-edge solutions, including GPS Tracking Devices, Fleet Management Solutions, Fuel Monitoring Solutions, Asset Tracking Solutions, and Cargo Tracking. This role is critical to our mission of delivering innovative solutions to our clients and achieving sales growth.


Key Responsibilities

 Team Leadership:

● Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

● Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.


 Sales Strategy Development:

● Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate the market and achieve sales objectives.

● Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.


 Business Development:

● Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote customer retention and satisfaction.

● Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute sales campaigns.


Technical Expertise:

● Leverage your knowledge of telematics platforms such as WIALON, Starcom, and Galooli to provide tailored solutions to clients.

● Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry advancements to ensure our solutions remain competitive.


 Reporting and Analysis:

● Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.

● Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend actions to improve performance.


 Adaptability:

● Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in working within a non-home country context, understanding cultural and regional dynamics to drive business success.


Qualifications and Skills

 Experience:

● Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in sales of Fleet Management and Vehicle


Tracking Solutions.

● Hands-on experience with telematics platforms such as WIALON, Starcom, Scope and Galooli is highly desirable.


 Education:

● A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

 

Skills:

● Strong leadership and team management skills.

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

● Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

● Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite. 


 Flexibility:

● Ready to relocate or work in a foreign country within East Africa.


Reporting Line

This position will report directly to the Sales Manager.
