Job Summary
As a Surveyor, you will be working closely with other surveyors and survey assistants. The role would usually require a mix of both office and in the field work. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favour safety above everything else.

Job Description/Requirements
· Coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans
· Excavation Volume computation
· Conduct daily site measurements.
· Leveling design preparations
· Undertaking topographical survey
· Confirming levels
· Undertaking alignment of drainage, sewers and storm water.
· Sewer and storm water profile design
· Setting out structures
· Perform basic engineering surveying on site.
· Assist with construction staking or site layout surveys
· Provide technical expertise to other individuals in the company
· Preparing daily, weekly and monthly survey reports
· Extracting coordinates and data preparations for setting out
· Liaising with consulting surveyors during design changes
· Any other tasks assigned to you by your supervisor.
Academic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
· Professional Certification (or progress towards certification) in surveying is highly desirable
· Strong proficiency in the use of modern surveying tools (Total Stations, GPS, Laser Scanners, etc.).
· A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in surveying for construction projects, including experience in both field and office work.
