Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:


1. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Debt Collectors, providing guidance and support.


2. Set and monitor team performance metrics to ensure collection targets are consistently achieved.


3. Develop and implement effective debt recovery strategies and policies.


4. Review and analyze accounts to identify priorities and risks.


5. Train team members on negotiation techniques, customer management, and compliance standards.


6. Resolve escalated disputes and provide solutions for challenging accounts.


7. Ensure all team activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.


8. Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and collection results to management.


9. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.


10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in debt collection laws.


Requirements

1. Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certifications in credit management or collections are an advantage.

2. Experience:

Proven experience in debt collection with at least 2-4 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of debt recovery processes and legal regulations.

3. Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.

Analytical skills to assess accounts and develop effective strategies.

Proficiency in using CRM software, debt management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Time management and organizational skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities.
