Store Attendant / Sales Associate

The ideal candidate should:

● · Be honest, reliable, punctual, and hardworking

● · Have excellent customer service skills

● · Be polite, respectful, and patient with customers

● · Be neat, clean, modest, and professionally dressed

● · Avoid skimpy or inappropriate dressing

● · Avoid excessive facial piercings and excessively long nails

● · Speak proper English or Swahili when communicating with customers

● · Avoid slang or Sheng when speaking to customers

● · Be familiar with cosmetic and body care products

● · Have knowledge of brands such as Bath & Body Works, eos, Victoria’s Secret, PINK, and other beauty/body care brands

● · Be comfortable recommending products to customers

● · Be able to follow instructions and store procedures

● · Be attentive and alert to help prevent theft or loss

● · Be comfortable handling sales, payments, stock, and customer orders

● · Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable

● · Limit personal phone use during working hours

Social media posting is a key part of this role.

● The candidate must be proficient and comfortable creating and posting content on Instagram and TikTok.

● They will be expected to post approximately 5 times per day on IG/TikTok, including product videos, store content, customer-friendly updates, and beauty-related posts.

● We are looking for someone who takes work seriously, respects customers, understands beauty products, and can represent Scently254 professionally both in-store and online.
