Job Description/Requirements
JOB PURPOSE
This position will be responsible for performing duties related to the receiving, loading and offloading of raw materials as per the organizations STOs/LPOs. In addition, this role is responsible for both physical and SAP stock counts and reconciliations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehousing and Inventory Control
Maintains and monitors the loading/offloading of all raw materials and ensures that they are free from abnormalities.
Conduct daily reconciliation of both physical and SAP stocks
Ensure accurate daily update of Raw Materials Inventory module and share with relevant stakeholders.
Review inventory reconciliations for interplant and intercompany receipts with stakeholders for stock accountability and replenishment
Ensure 100% labor utilization within the stores, through effective management of the outsourced staff.
Carry out all daily checks of raw materials and reporting any damages/near expiry/ obsolete
Documentation of all delivery notes, waybills, inspection reports, receipt summaries, and physical inventory worksheets in a proper way
Ensure timely opening and closing of the allocated chutes while ensuring accurate update of key records.
Manage outsourced staff requirements and generate reservations for PPE consumables, stationery as maybe required
Ensure proper filing of all documents related to receipt of raw materials-delivery notes, GRNs
Preparation and submission of end month reports-stock movements and Stock valuations
Manage expiries and share a report of raw materials with short expiries (<3 months) on a weekly basis
Raw Material Offloading
In liaison with Quality Assurance Department, ensure 100% sampling of all raw materials at entry/before offloading.
Ensure quality raw materials are availed in the warehouse with an OTIFEF of >95%
Verifying the loading/offloading documentation before any loading and offloading
Ensure that loading/offloading of all vehicles is completed within the set TAT
Managing and organizing trucks and drivers as per the loading/offloading requirements and allocations
Ensure the loading/offloading bay is always clean and ready for loading/offloading
Report any discrepancies between the invoice/delivery note and the physical tally sheets to the RMPM Supervisor.
Collaborate with the Accounting Clerk to document and report incidences of raw material weight discrepancies noted at the weighbridge
Safety Health and Environment (SHE), Food Safety & PaTaMu
Actively Participate in 6K, CI, SHE, FSMS/GMP /PaTaMu, activities
Identify and report all quality and food safety issues during daily operations
Lead safety toolbox meeting with outsourced staff before start of operations in all areas of work
Conduct 6K, CI, SHE, FSMS/GMP /PaTaMu trainings to outsourced/drivers and staff within the department.
Any other assigned duties.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Degree in Warehouse/Logistics management, Procurement and Supplies Management
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a related field
Computer proficiency especially with Microsoft Excel
Experience working with ERP is an added advantage
