Their duties include meeting with clients to determine their software needs, coding and testing software to ensure functionality and updating software programs to refine components like cybersecurity measures and data storage capacities.

Position: Software Developer
Reporting to: Director
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Develop software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company or the need of the client.
2. Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns
3. Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software
4. Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch
5. Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
6. Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information
7. Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
8. Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications
9. Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products
10. Develop future technical document to guide future software development projects
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Software development or IT related course-cloud computing, networking etc.
- Other IT certifications, project managements scrum development, Agile development is an added advantage
- Work experience in either of C#, PHP, PHP-Laravel, Angular, Java, MySQL database, HTML,CSS and Bootstrap etc.
- Knowledge of restful API integration
- Experience with cloud technologies –Azure, AWS, Cloudways
- Familiarity with container technologies –Docker, K8s
- Version Control preferably -GitHub
