Job Summary
The Social Media Marketer will be responsible for developing and managing the college's social media presence, creating engaging content, and executing digital marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, increase student enrollment, and promote academic programs. The ideal candidate will understand the Kenyan education sector, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at engaging with various online audiences.

Job Description/Requirements
● Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to promote the college's academic programs, events, and activities.
● Manage and grow the college’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
● Create engaging, informative, and visually appealing content (posts, images, videos) tailored to the Kenyan audience.
● Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
● Collaborate with internal departments to gather content and promote events such as admissions, graduations, and community outreach.
● Engage with prospective students, parents, and the public through social media, responding to inquiries and comments in a timely manner.
● Stay updated on social media trends and best practices, particularly within the Kenyan education sector.
● Assist in running targeted digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) to attract more student applications.
● Maintain the college’s brand voice and consistency across all social media platforms.
Requirements:
● Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in social media marketing, preferably in the education sector.
● Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
● Ability to create compelling and engaging content tailored for a Kenyan audience.
● Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
● Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience running paid digital campaigns.
