JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Site Clerk with 2-3 years of work experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites or in stores, handling materials, tools, and equipment, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers the opportunity to work in Kenya or with sister companies across the East Africa region.Qualifications:2-3 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry or in materials management.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to track materials and equipment accurately.Basic knowledge of inventory management and materials handling.Ability to report discrepancies and damages effectively, following up with the necessary departments.Proficiency in computerized inventory systems and familiarity with basic office software for report preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work on a construction site or within a small stock room/store room, assisting with the management of materials, tools, and equipment.Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure accurate inventory control.Monitor stock levels, checking existing materials and supplies, and report or place orders when stock is low.Receive, unpack, and unload materials and supplies, ensuring all items are checked for quality and performance upon receipt.Report damages and discrepancies in materials or equipment, ensuring proper accounting and reimbursement procedures are followed.Prepare and maintain labor records and payment charts, submitting weekly reports to the higher authorities for review.Prepare and maintain injury and theft reports on a weekly basis, submitting the reports to the higher authorities for documentation and follow-up.
