Job Summary

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for Loki Ventures' cat and dog food, cat litter, and accessories within the Western Region. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, achieving sales targets, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Description/Requirements

1.Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for the Western Region in all channels ie Hyper markets, supermakets, petshops, vet clinics, agrovets, breeders, security firms etc
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the region.


2.Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hypermarkets, supermarkets, vet clinics, pet boardings, pet shops, and online platforms.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.


3.Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager, including sales forecasts, pipeline status, and market insights.


4.Promotion and Merchandising:

Implement promotional activities and campaigns to drive product visibility and sales.

Ensure proper merchandising of products at customer locations.


5.Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to customers and sales staff on product knowledge, features, and benefits.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints promptly.


6.Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain teams within all channels to ensure timely product availability.
  • Manage returns and ensure minimal stockouts.
  • Minimal damage of products
  • Zero expiry risk to products


7.Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the pet food or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive travel within the Western Region.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
