Location: Mau Narok, Nakuru CountyCompany: [Confidential Client] – Certified Potato Seed and Value Addition ProcessingJob SummaryThe Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies. This role includes supervising employees, managing workflow, and maintaining high standards of production and service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the shift team, ensuring tasks are effectively assigned and completed.Provide training, coaching, and performance management for employees.Monitor productivity and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.Oversee inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of equipment and tools.Create and manage shift schedules to maintain optimal staffing levels.Enforce health, safety, and compliance protocols in the workplace.Address operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or staffing shortages, in a timely manner.Generate reports on shift activities and performance metrics.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.Experience in the food processing industry is an added advantage.Strong knowledge of inventory management, team supervision, and customer service.Familiarity with scheduling and inventory management software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace.Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their application letter and CV to recruitment.eastafrica@amsco-africa.com by 30 January 2025.
