JOB SUMMARY
Working Days: Mon to FriWorking Hours: Night Shift Job description: The senior will be responsible for assisting the FP&Ateam and providing organized and detail oriented financial reporting analysisand support within the Finance division of a growing financial company. Theywill assist in the supervision, management and coordination of FP&Apersonnel in their charge. This person is responsible to perform the belowfunctions for the client as well as companies that are contracted with theclient.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement monthly reporting for departmentalbudget owners and regularly review financial results. 2. Support Financial Reporting application management anddesign. 3. Analyze and consolidate Annual, Quarterly and monthlyforecast processes, including communication and coordination with budgetowners, building templates, training different areas while analyzinginformation received. 4. Provide monthly expense analysis and commentaries. 5. Assist with budgeting, financial statement, loancovenants, cash-flow monitoring, and variance analysis. 6. Organize the processing and analyze the financialstatements, monthly reports, and cash flow reporting. 7. Monitor and maintain integrity of the GL accountingsystem, specifically the chart of accounts and subaccount list. 8. Update and maintain policies & proceduredocumentation. 9. Meet thecontractual commitments to client(s) through timely and accurate reporting andissue resolution. 10. Assist in managing the financial staff results thrucoaching, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, andperformance assessment. 11. Perform other job-related and management duties asdirected by supervisor. 12. Takes personal responsibility for actions. Leads byexample, guiding the team to win/win solutions. 13. Acknowledges andhelps develop individual strengths of team members and supports and encouragesthe utilization of strengths to foster business results. 14. Demonstrates excellence in work standards and istenacious in completing tasks. 15. Able to effectively solve problems and make decisionsbased on the best information available, including resolving crisis situationsand developing resolutions between parties. 16. Ensures effectiveness in processes to achieve / seekbest practice. 19. Provides feedback and suggestions for improved systemsand efficiencies. 20. Other duties as assigned.Skills and qualifications - Hard and soft skills: Hard & Soft Skills · Strong English language skills, both written and spoken · Strong understanding and experience with accrualaccounting · Proficient level of understanding and experience withMicrosoft excel, preferably with experience using pivot tables, arrayfunctionality and macros. · Experience with Financial Reporting Applications/tools(Intacct, Oracle, SAP etc.) · Experience using PowerPoint to design executive levelpresentations. Dashboarding experience is also desirable. · Communicates effectively in individual or group situationsincluding demonstrating active listening skills. · Ability to communicateeffectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form, and able toread and interpret written information. · Ability to coach and develop more junior members of thefinance team. · Ability to effectively interact with customer base andmaintain excellent customer relations. · Ability to maintain confidentiality. · Ability to work effectively with other internal andexternal departments. · Ability to work independently and as a team player. · Problem solving skills are mandatory as well as ability tomanage resources to complete team goals. · Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills; strict attention to detail. · Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word and E-mail. SageIntacct is a plus.
