Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Salesperson to join our team.The Salesperson will play a crucial role in expanding the company's client base by identifying and generating new sales opportunities, building lasting customer relationships, and closing business deals across various sectors including commercial, residential, and government. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing high-quality service solutions.

Job Description/Requirements

1. Sales Lead Generation and Prospecting

● Identify Target Markets: Research and identify new potential clients across different market segments, including small businesses, large corporations, government agencies, residential buildings, and industrial clients.

● Generate Leads: Use a variety of methods to generate leads, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, online research, attending trade shows, and leveraging industry-specific platforms.

● Outbound Sales Activities: Conduct cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to initiate communication with leads and schedule appointments.

● Qualification of Leads: Assess potential clients’ needs, budgets, and decision-making processes to qualify leads and create a prioritized sales pipeline.


2. Sales Presentations and Consultations

● Client Meetings: Organize and conduct face-to-face meetings or virtual consultations with prospective clients to assess their cleaning or security needs.

● Solution-Based Selling: Present tailored service offerings (cleaning or security) based on the client’s specific requirements, highlighting the benefits, service quality, and pricing structure.

● Conduct Site Visits: In some cases, visit client locations to understand site-specific requirements and provide custom solutions.

● Proposals & Bidding: Prepare and submit detailed proposals, quotations, and service contracts. Ensure timely follow-ups to close deals and overcome objections.


3. Relationship Building & Client Retention

● Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with services.

● Customer Support: Be the point of contact for clients, handling any queries, concerns, or issues that arise during the service contract period.

● Upselling & Cross-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional services, such as specialized cleaning or enhanced security solutions, to existing clients.

● Post-Sale Support: Ensure smooth onboarding and transition for clients post-sale, working with the operations team to guarantee high service delivery standards.


4. Negotiation and Closing

● Price Negotiations: Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients to reach mutually beneficial arrangements while maintaining company profitability.

● Contract Management: Prepare and ensure the proper signing of contracts with all relevant terms and conditions clearly outlined.

● Close Sales: Use persuasive sales techniques to close deals, ensuring a high conversion rate of leads into signed contracts and revenue-generating accounts.


5. Market Research and Competitive Analysis

● Industry Insights: Continuously research market trends, competitor offerings, and client preferences to stay ahead of the competition.

● Market Positioning: Use insights from market research to assist in pricing strategies, promotional offers, and positioning of the company’s services in the market.

● Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients regarding their experience with services, and share insights with the marketing and operations teams to improve service quality.


6. Sales Reporting and Administration

● Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics (KPIs).

● CRM Management: Utilize the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track leads, follow-ups, client details, and sales progress.

● Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to management to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.

● Administrative Support: Assist in maintaining client databases, preparing sales documentation, and ensuring timely submission of reports. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

● Sales Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for new business and revenue growth.

● Lead Conversion Rate: Increase conversion rates from qualified leads to closed contracts.

● Client Retention: Achieve high client retention rates through excellent service delivery and follow-up support.

● Customer Satisfaction: Obtain positive feedback from clients, indicating high levels of satisfaction and the potential for repeat business.

● Market Share Growth: Contribute to the company’s growth by expanding into new market segments and regions.


Qualifications

● A Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing with 2-3 years of experience.

● Experience in a cleaning or security service industry is a plus.

● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.


Skills

● Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen, with the ability to identify needs, create solutions, and close deals.

● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

● Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.

● Customer Focus: Ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

● Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and using mobile applications for sales tracking.
