Job Summary

The main responsibility of the Sales Representative will be to recruit new members to the society, sell the Sacco’s products and services by identifying leads, educating members on products through phone calls and visits, and supporting existing members with exceptional levels of customer care.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: CONTRACT


Elimu Sacco Society Ltd, a deposit taking Sacco regulated by Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) and based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a qualified and competent individual to fill the position of Sales Representative. We operate 4 front offices located in Nairobi, Lodwar, Homabay and Busia that offer affordable financial services to our members. The successful candidate will be based at our Lodwar branch office, and will operate within Migori County and the surrounding areas.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Present, promote and sell Elimu Sacco products and services using solid arguments to existing and prospective members.

2. Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.

3. Members’ recruitment and retention.

4. Develop contact with potential members through phone calls, emails and scheduling meetings in person.

5. Deliver agreed upon sales targets and submitting quarterly, monthly and annual sales targets within the agreed schedule.

6. Assist members with complaints or inquiries related to products, services and purchases.

7. Any other duty as delegated by your supervisor.

 

Minimum Qualifications & Attributes. 

1. Diploma in Sales and marketing, any other Business related course.

2. Relevant experience with sales and marketing. 

3. Demonstrated Computer literacy. 

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

5. Excellent selling and negotiation skills

6. Should be a person of integrity, self-driven, with good interpersonal skills and a team player

7. Result oriented and able to meet targets.
