Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Manager for IT Services will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, particularly in QA services within the BFSI domain. Key responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, preparing proposals, achieving set sales targets, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met. The role will require monitoring industry trends, attending relevant events, and providing feedback for continuous improvement of services.
Responsibilities.
- Drive end‑to‑end sales for QA / Software Testing services in the BFSI domain.
- Identify, qualify, and close new logo opportunities across Africa.
- Build and manage a robust BFSI(Preferred) sales pipeline aligned to regional revenue targets.
- Lead RFP/RFI responses, solution positioning, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
- Sell QA offerings including:
- Manual & Automation Testing
- Core Banking & Payments Testing
- Regulatory, UAT, and Business Assurance
- Test Transformation & Managed QA Services
- Engage with CXOs, CIOs, Heads of QA, and Procurement teams in banks and financial institutions.
- Act as the primary client interface for BFSI accounts in Africa.
- Work closely with pre‑sales, delivery, and solution teams to ensure deal success.
- Drive account mining, upsell, and cross‑sell opportunities within existing BFSI clients.
- Develop go‑to‑market strategies for QA services in Africa BFSI market.
- Track market trends, competitors, and regional banking regulations.
- Represent the organization in client meetings, industry forums, and events across Africa.
Required skills and Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in IT Services / Technology Services Sales
- Strong experience selling QA / Testing services
- Mandatory BFSI domain exposure (Banking, Financial Services, Fintech)
- Proven experience handling Africa region clients
- Strong ability to close mid to large‑value deals
