JOB SUMMARY

About CoAmanaFounded in 2018, CoAmana is a technology company that is evolving market hubs and systems with the goal of optimum impact on people, trade, and environment.CoAmana is on a mission to modernize and digitize market trading. Our flagship product, Amana Market, is a digital platform where:Farmers, suppliers, and wholesalers can trade with one another.Market Leaders can track members’ subscriptions and collect market fees.Users can track their activity history and keep seamless records with low effort.Traders can access credit for large purchases.Users can access information such as weather reports and commodity pricing.Market actors can work with Amana Market for an additional income stream.We have set ambitious targets for 2025 and are looking for talented, self-starting individuals to join the team.About the RoleBy the end of 2025, Amana Market will be in 100 markets, each of which will add at least 50 new members to the platform each month.We are looking for Account Managers to manage these relationships and to ensure market retention, transaction growth, and uptake of new products and services. Account Managers play a critical role in CoAmana - engaging regularly with market partners to ensure that they are motivated, engaged, and active on the platform. You will be supported by a network of agents in your markets, whom you will mentor, manage, and empower to meet and exceed their targets.RequirementsAt least one post-secondary qualification (OND, HND, undergraduate role).A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, relationship management, or customer service; experience in the technology and/or agricultural sector is an added advantage.A passion for winning - meeting and exceeding targets.Strong and proven problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal skills - relationship based approach to sales and offering solutions that address the client's needs.People management skills - Agents are the key to your success and you must be willing to work closely with them and assess their performance accurately and objectively.Integrity - Uphold highest level of honesty and transparency.High energy - You will get to travel whenever it is required and set the pace for the rest of the team.IT skills - Intermediate level of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and familiarity with CRM tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the sales team in business development.Travelling regularly to markets in your portfolio to maintain relationships and identify any issues.Recruitment & set-up of agents, performance management, resource allocation, and overall oversight.Conduct onboarding for Market Leaders and Agents, as well as regular training for team members.Build and maintain relationships with market leaders and key market stakeholders.Organize and conduct info-sessions in markets to drive user growth.Ensure retention on the platform across the board - recurring market subscriptions, recurring transactions, etc.Drive innovation of products and services for Markets.Gather insights from the field to drive improvement to products and services.Maintain immaculate record keeping to enable tracking of the sales pipeline.Represent CoAmana to the highest standard when engaging with external actors

Account management, Reporting, E-mail and internet, Communication, Decision making, High work ethic, Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree
