Locations: Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Meru, Bungoma.
What you will be doing:
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding promptly to IT support tickets from employees and updating them on the status of their service requests
- Generating sign-ins for new hires during the onboarding process
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Changing configurations, settings, and permissions to fix computer issues
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science and professional certification
- Knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
