JOB SUMMARY
Position Overview:A growing provider of lighting and interior solutions is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee operations in the Coast region. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless retail operations, deliver exceptional customer satisfaction, and drive sales growth for innovative lighting and interior products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations of retail outlets, ensuring a superior customer experience, expanding the customer base, and enhancing brand visibility.Showcase and promote cutting-edge lighting and interior products, including newly launched solutions.Manage stock levels efficiently, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and minimize stockouts.Train and mentor retail staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.Resolve customer concerns, including maintenance, warranties, and product upgrade issues, to maintain high satisfaction levels.Implement targeted promotional strategies to boost in-store traffic and sales performance.Lead and collaborate with the regional sales team to align retail activities with overall sales and marketing goals.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Achieve or exceed monthly retail sales targets.Maintain stock accuracy at a minimum of 99%.Deliver a customer satisfaction score of 99% or higher.Reduce customer complaints to below 1% of total visitors.Ensure 100% of retail staff receive training on new product lines.Increase repeat customer visits by 25% year-on-year.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, sales & marketing, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in retail management, ideally within the home décor, lighting, or interior fittings sectors.Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.Proficiency in inventory management systems and sales reporting tools.Computer literacy, with experience in material control systems.Prior experience in field product sales will be a distinct advantage.
