Job summary
The School will engage a Resident School Nurse who will also serve as Boarding Matron, with primary responsibility for student healthcare and secondary responsibility for boarding welfare, supported by additional boarding staff to ensure continuous supervision and compliance with clinical and safeguarding standards
Job descriptions & requirements
Core Responsibilities
A. Nursing (Priority)
- First aid, triage, and emergency response
- Managing student medical records and medication
- Handling sick bay/infirmary operations
- Liaising with hospitals and parents
- Health education & infection control
B. Matron (Support Role)
- Overseeing boarding students’ welfare (hygiene, routines, wellbeing)
- Supervising dormitory arrangements (especially for younger learners)
- Supporting pastoral care and safeguarding
- Coordinating with Parents/Teachers
