*Key Responsibilities*
- Identify and onboard clients requiring bid bonds, performance bonds, and trade finance solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and tender-driven businesses.
- Source business through networking platforms, referrals, and industry events.
- Structure bid bond and performance bond facilities aligned to client needs.
- Advise clients on tender requirements, bond limits, and eligibility.
- Prepare and submit credit proposals in line with internal policies.
- Conduct preliminary financial analysis and client due diligence.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit and documentation standards.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients.
- Support clients throughout the tendering and project lifecycle.
- Cross-sell relevant financial products including working capital and LPO financing.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely issuance of bid bonds.
- Monitor bond expiries, renewals, and cancellations.
- Ensure timely collection of fees and commissions.
- Track market trends in tender-driven sectors and identify business opportunities.
*Qualifications & Experience*
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in trade finance, corporate banking, or credit-focused institutions.
- Proven experience handling bid bonds and performance bonds.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes (public and private sectors).
- Experience in client acquisition and relationship management.
