Registered Nurses (Entry Level)

Qualifications:

·          Entry-level position.

·          Relevant qualification (e.g., BSc/HND in Nursing or related field).

·          Nephrology certification is an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·          Dialysis Preparation: Oversee the preparation of the delivery system, dialysate bath, and dialyzer. Ensure all mandatory alarm tests on the dialyzer and equipment are performed.

·          Patient Assessment: Review physician orders, collect pre-treatment dialysis data, and conduct pre-dialysis patient assessments (vital signs, vascular access, laboratory findings).

·          Medication Management: Verify prescribed medications, perform medication reconciliation, and document patient assessments and interventions.

·          Patient Care: Discuss patient concerns, answer care-related questions, and provide direct care.

·          Supervision: Oversee dialysis technicians, monitor patient reactions to treatment, and manage the performance of dialysis machines.

·            Vascular Access: Assess, prepare, and cannulate vascular access for dialysis using sterile techniques
