Job Summary
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our client nursing staff in providing excellent health care to the patients.
- Minimum Qualification : Diploma
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
Ø Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
Ø Facilitating patients` admission and initiating discharge plans.
Ø Illnesses IMCI, immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery; Providing health education and counselling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs.
Ø Prepare for and assist the doctors during the rounds and whenever required
Ø Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
Ø Perform bedside nursing.
Ø Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment;
Ø Collecting and compiling data.
Ø
Carry out any other
additional duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Registered Nurse Requirements/skills:
Ø Ability to effectively communicate with patients, family hospital staff.
Ø Basic computer skills.
Ø Professional, friendly attitude.
Ø Experience in home health care.
Ø
Experience in
emergency room or intensive care.
Qualification/Experience:
Ø Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution
Ø Enrolment Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya· Valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya
Ø Ability to work with minimum supervision is an advantage.
Ø At least three (3) years post qualification experience.
