Job Summary
Overall project management focusing on preparation of bills of quantities, cost control and administration of contracts including periodic cost reporting for continued financial security and sustainability of projects, ensuring projects are delivered within budgets while ensuring quality.

Job Description/Requirements
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Preparation of Bills of Quantities for various projects.
· Preparing and pricing of tender documents.
· Preparation of contract documentation.
· Preparation of contract documents for subcontract works.
· Preparation of material schedules and assisting in material Procurement.
· Cross checking materials being ordered with the quantities in the approved bills of quantities.
· Site measurements and re-measurements.
· Project cost control and cost reporting.
· Preparation of financial appraisals.
· Preparation of interim valuations for the ongoing projects.
· Preparation of final accounts.
· Attendance of site meetings and site inspections.
· Monitoring and reporting progress of various sites to the MD.
· Contract claims Management and dispute settlement.
· Any other duties that may be assigned by the Directors.
Minimum Qualification.
· Degree in Building Economics, Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and make reports.
· Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a QS in the construction industry especially in interior fit out works.
· Professional membership with the relevant Professional bodies like BORAQS, AAK will be an added advantage.
· Fluent in English and Kiswahili.

Remuneration package.
· This will be negotiated during the interview. Applicants to state their current and expected salaries.
· Monthly airtime allowance under the Company’s prevailing terms.
· Medical cover for staff and 5 dependants under the prevailing terms.
· Transport and accommodation while on duty outside Nairobi will be provided.
