QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Location: Ngong Road


We are hiring on behalf of our client in the construction industry for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in waterproofing and general construction works.

The ideal candidate will support project planning, cost control, and site coordination across a range of projects including renovations, repairs, and remodeling of residential/commercial property.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct project scoping and site assessments on behalf of the company
  • Prepare and manage tender documents, quotations, and cost estimates
  • Monitor project costs and ensure budget compliance
  • Support project planning, execution, and reporting
  • Analyze project performance and provide insights from the office
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and quality of work
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Represent the company in project meetings
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all projects

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Experience in construction, especially waterproofing and renovation works, is an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management
  • Ability to prepare BOQs, estimates, and tender documents
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant construction tools
