Job Summary
We are seeking to hire a Quality Control Supervisor who will oversee and ensure the quality of plant cuttings produced through monitoring, inspection of cuttings and implementing quality assurance procedures to meet company standards and regulatory requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Job Description/Requirements
- Inspection and implementation of quality assurance standards to meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Cuttings are harvested at the right quality specifications – maturity, size, diameter, length and freedom from pests & diseases as per clients’ needs
- Collaboration with production teams to implement improvements and enhance overall cuttings quality
- Training and supporting quality controllers, graders and production supervisors on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to company rules & procedures
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and any quality deviations from set standards
- Analyse quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare and submit quality reports to the management.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Floriculture or related sciences.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar position, preferably a cuttings production company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Resilience – deal effectively with pressure; Ability to manage deadlines and stressful situations.
- Flexibility – be open to change and new information; rapidly adapt to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
