PROJECT MANAGER 2 ( One Located in Mathare and One in Mukuru)

• Prepare annual costed workplan

• Oversee recruitment of project participants

• Support POs to prepare their monthly workplan

• Write detailed monthly reports in response to the work plan and submit it to the Programme Coordinator within the specified time.

• Prepare donor reports

• Maintain project participants database

• Prepare procurement plans for products, equipment and services related to project activities

• Hold weekly staff meetings

• Supervise cash projections and purchase requests

• Project Review meetings to assess progress and challenge

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (social science, project management, etc)

• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, including budget management, report writing, work planning and supervising team

• Experience working on Protection, rapid response or Livelihood programming is an added advantage

• Experience in proposal writing, including building budgets and

• Relevant experience in project data analysis and quality donor reports

• Good MS office skills (Word, Excel, PPT)

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Ready to do field work in Informal settlement

• Good leadership skills – relevant experience in leading teams
