Our client seeks a highly skilled and experienced Professional House Chef to manage and prepare meals for a private household in Mogadishu. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, a diverse repertoire of cuisines, and a strong understanding of food presentation, nutrition, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals according to the household's preferences and dietary requirements.

• Create a variety of international and local cuisines with exceptional flavor and presentation.

• Develop weekly menus considering nutritional balance and seasonal ingredients.

• Manage grocery shopping, ingredient sourcing, and inventory control to ensure fresh and quality produce.

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

• Cater to special events or gatherings hosted within the household.

• Adapt recipes and cooking styles to meet specific dietary needs or restrictions.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of proven experience as a professional chef, preferably in a private household or high-end hospitality setting.

• Expertise in preparing a variety of international and local cuisines.

• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and nutrition.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Flexibility to work in a private household environment and adapt to unique requirements.

• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
