Job Summary

To Plan, organize and control production and ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time and within given timelines.

  • Minimum Qualification : Diploma
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description/Requirements

Production

  •  Determine and manage human resources to meet production targets
  •  Assist in making decision about equipment use, maintenance, modification and give recommendation for procurement of new machines
  •  Set production budgets and estimate daily production costs as well as implement cost control programs to reduce wastage
  •  Ensure efficiency collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement and storage warehouse
  •  Production scheduling and forecasting on demands
  •  Manage and ensure competitive bill of materials while minimizing unnecessary wastage
  •  Inspection and enforcement of policies on labeling of products
  •  Ensuring availability of production materials by establishing re-order levels and communicating the same to relevant department
  •  Manage and ensure correct labeling on all products as well as sealing and packaging in cartons/bags.
  •  Daily and monthly production records and reports


Quality Control

  •  Analyze production and quality control measures to detect any problems and rectify the same
  •  Implement and enforce quality control to meet quality objectives
  •  Set product quality standards and monitor standards of products produced.
  •  Ensure implementation and adherence to healthy and safety procedures
  •  Ensure the standard operating procedures are in place and followed by all personel in the department 


Supervision

  •  Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
  •  Ensure production staff are adequately trained and instructed
  •  Ensure the production warehouse is thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis


Qualifications

  •  Minimum of three (3) years working experience in a production/manufacturing setup
  •  Minimum of diploma in business management or a related field.
  •  Good analytical skills with prior experience using an ERP preferably SAP
  •  Excellent customer service
  •  Detail oriented
  •  Attention to details
  •  Ability to effectively manage and communicate across all levels of management
