JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Officer supports the company's strategic objectives by coordinating day-to-dayoperations and providing essential approvals and guidance across the operations function. This role is vital for ensuring efficiency, compliance and continuous improvement, while facilitating decision making and process optimization.Following are the requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.- Experience in an operations role, ideally within the FMCG sector.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Roles & Responsibilities :- Assist in coordinating daily operational activities and provide guidance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.- Oversee compliance with company policies, safety protocols, andregulatory requirements, providing approvals where necessary to maintain standards.- Analyse operational data, generate reports, and support decision-making by offering insights on efficiency and productivity improvements.- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with team leads to implementenhancements, ensuring processes are both efficient and effective.- Resource Coordination: Assist with resource planning and allocation, and provide approvals tooptimize the utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, ensuring smooth operationsand prompt resolution of issues, while managing related approvals.- Act as a point of guidance for operational teams, facilitating effectivecommunication and alignment on priorities.- Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives,supporting the strategic goals of the operations department.
