Position Overview:
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of our production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in our processes. This role involves managing a team, optimizing production schedules, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and minimize waste. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Manage and lead the production team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and ensure timely delivery of services.
Process Improvement: Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Quality Control: Ensure that all production activities comply with safety and environmental regulations and maintain high-quality standards.
Budget Management: Monitor production costs and assist in developing budgets to optimize resource allocation.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, maintenance, and logistics, to coordinate production activities.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
Health & Safety: Promote a culture of safety by ensuring that all team members adhere to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the waste management or recycling sector.
Strong knowledge of production processes and lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in data analysis and production management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
