Job Summary
Duties and responsibilities will include ordering supplies and equipment based on our company’s needs, researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts.) You should be familiar with construction and supply chain procedures and know how to create and translate cost analysis

Job Description/Requirements
a) Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
b) Research potential vendors
c) Track orders and ensure timely delivery
d) Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
e) Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
f) Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
g) Prepare cost analyses
h) Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
i) Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
j) Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
Person Specifications
1. Academic Qualifications
BSc in Quantity Survey
2. Professional Qualifications
Professional training and certification in procurement and supply chain would also be desirable.
3. Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement and construction Industry.
4. Skills and Attributes
a) Good understanding of construction and supply chain procedures
b) Hands-on experience with purchasing software
c) Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
d) Knowledge of market research
e) Solid organizational skills
f) Knowledge of the ERP system.
