you decide whether we win or lose, profit or fail.

🎯 Your Mission

You are responsible for building accurate, competitive, and strategic cost models for every tender.

You will:

• Translate sourcing, logistics, and operational inputs into clear pricing structures
• Ensure every bid is commercially competitive and financially viable
• Protect margins while maintaining a strong chance of winning

🧩 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Costing & Pricing Development

• Build detailed cost models for each tender, including:
  • Product sourcing costs
  • Logistics and shipping costs
  • Duties, taxes, and delivery expenses
  • Operational and overhead costs

🔹 Commercial Strategy

• Develop pricing that balances:
  • Competitiveness
  • Profitability
  • Risk
• Adjust pricing strategies based on:
  • Market conditions
  • Client expectations
  • Tender evaluation criteria

🔹 Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Sourcing & Supplier Manager
  • Bid Strategy & Qualification Lead
  • Tender / Bid Specialist
  • Logistics & Delivery teams
• Ensure all inputs are aligned and accurate

🔹 Financial Accuracy & Risk Control

• Identify risks such as:
  • Underpricing
  • Cost overruns
  • Currency fluctuations
  • Logistics uncertainties
• Apply buffers and controls where required

🔹 Data & Systems

• Maintain pricing models and data in:
  • Excel / financial tools
  • CRM / project systems (Zoho / ClickUp / SharePoint)
• Track:
  • Historical pricing
  • Win/loss data
  • Margin performance

📚 Requirements

• Proven experience in:
  • Pricing, costing, financial analysis, or commercial roles
• Strong understanding of:
  • Cost structures and pricing strategies
  • Procurement and supply chain cost components
• Advanced skills in:
  • Excel / financial modelling
• Ability to:
  • Analyse complex data quickly
  • Build accurate and structured cost models
• Familiarity with:
  • Tendering environments (UN, NGO, or government) is an advantage
• Strong English communication skills
