Job Title: PR Specialist with IT Expertise

Location: Nairobi

Job Type: Full-time


Key Responsibilities

1. Public Relations & Communication

• Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns to enhance Taxi HR’s brand and visibility, especially in the IT/tech recruitment market.

• Monitor and manage Taxi HR’s public image and online reputation across multiple platforms.

• Coordinate and work closely with the recruitment team.


2. IT & Tech-Focused Communication

• Translate complex technical and IT-related concepts into clear, engaging content for clients, candidates, and internal use.

• Stay updated with emerging IT industry trends, technologies, and talent market shifts, providing insights to support recruitment strategies.

• Partner with internal teams to create targeted communication for candidates, including job ads, thought leadership content, and email campaigns.


3. Brand Management & Visibility

• Strengthen Taxi HR’s brand identity in the recruitment industry through consistent messaging and targeted outreach.


4. Collaboration & Project Management

• Work closely with recruitment teams to align communication efforts with business goals.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and campaigns are impactful.

• Contribute creatively to brainstorming sessions and provide strategic recommendations to improve Taxi HR’s market presence.


Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, IT, Communications or a related field.

• Age requirement: 23 – 30 years.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, with a focus on IT, technology, or related industries.

• Solid understanding of the IT/tech industry, emerging trends and technical language.

• Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and nontechnical audiences.

• Proficiency in project management, able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

• Creative and strategic thinker, capable of developing innovative PR and brand strategies.

• Team player with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Familiarity with PR tools, social media platforms, and tech communication practices.


Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in recruitment or HR communications, especially in tech hiring.
